Arabinda Ray is Professional Corporate Executive with 50 years of experience. Arabinda Ray is a B.Sc.(Hons.) graduate with an MBA. He joined the Board of the Company in 1981 as Director.

Arabinda Ray is also the Founder Member of Indian Institute of Packaging and was India's sole delegate at the founding of Asian Packaging Federation in Japan. He has been on the board of Governors of National Institute of Bank Management and a member of the Executive Council of the Institute of Financial Management & Research Chennai. He has authored several management books such as the Indian Manager in Search of Style, The Manager Beyond the Organisation. The Indian Manager still in Search of a Style and Fifty years of Indian Management. He is a Director also in other Indian Public Limited Companies viz. Warren Tea Ltd., Tata Tea Ltd., IDBI Bank, Consolidate Fibres & Chemicals Ltd., Indian Wood Products Ltd., Allahabad Bank Ltd. and IFB Industries Ltd.
